Open Twitch on your computer to follow along with these instructions.
- Open the Twitch website and log in to your account.
- Select yourprofile picture at the top right of the page.
- ClickSettings .
- SelectSecurity and Privacy .
- Scroll down a bit and chooseSet Up Two-Factor Authentication .
- SelectEnable 2FA .
- Enter your phone number, then clickContinue .
- Enter the verification number you receive via SMS message.
At this point, you can selectSkip & Use SMS to use text codes to log in, or you can continue with these steps to set up an authentication app . Keep reading to learn how to do that. - On your phone, open an authentication app such as Google Authenticator , and use it to scan the QR code on the Twitch website.
