1. Open the Create an Account page at Sony Entertainment Network and selectCreate .
   
2. Select your country from the drop-down menu, choose your language, and fill out the other details in the form. PressNext when you’re done.
   
3. Enter your date of birth into the appropriate boxes and then pressNext .
   
4. Enter your email address and create a password for your new PSN account.

5. Read the Personalized Content page and check or uncheck the settings as you see fit. SelectConfirm to continue.
   
6. Select Agree and Create Account .
   
7. Open your email and verify your address by clicking the link delivered to your Inbox from Sony.
8. Choose the Online ID that others will see when you play online games, then fill out the rest of the form with your name. ClickNext .

How to Create a PSN Account on a PS5

If you already have a PSN account on your PS4, you can log in using the same account on your PS5 console. If you don’t have an account, you can create a new one directly from your PlayStation. Here’s how:

1. Go to the Home screen and selectAdd User .
   
2. SelectGet Started .
   
3. Read the user agreement and then, if you wish to proceed, press the box next toI Agree . SelectConfirm .
4. SelectCreate an Account .

16. Optionally add a phone number to your account that Sony can use to help you reset your account if you can’t access it for whatever reason. ChooseDo This Later to skip this step.

Here’s how to make a PSN account on a PlayStation 4:

1. With the console on and the controller activated (press the PS button), select New User on the screen.

9. SelectAccept on the final screen to accept the terms of service and user agreement.
